Read It, Watched It, Listened to It
A podcast in which three guests discuss a specific title. But here’s the twist — one of them read the book, the other listened to the audiobook, and the third watched the movie/TV show.
Client: Storytel (2020)
My Role: Idea and Creative Direction
Context
The debate around the adaptation of literature into cinema can go on endlessly. Readers, viewers, and listeners of good stories have always been in conflict over the best way to experience a story.
Idea
Provoked by the eternal question: “which is better, the book or the movie?” we decided to create a podcast that does not oppose the different ways in which we can experience a story.
Instead, we encouraged people to explore more and more stories, regardless of the media format.
We partnered with Storytel — one of the world’s largest subscribed audiobook and e-book streaming services and an aspiring global market leader in digital storytelling.
Each episode features a title, along with a light-hearted conversation with three different guests. One of them read the book, the other listened to the audiobook, and the third watched the movie/TV show.
Among the guests were celebrities, fans, publishers, and critics.

The first season contained 7 episodes, each dedicated to a title that exists in audio, video, and book format.
